Joseph Raymond Sanders, 49, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, January 5th, 2010. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 25, 1960 to Raymond and Leana (Hale) Sanders. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of his own landscaping company.He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Cox)Sanders; children Brandy (Marcus) Madison, Rachel Mathis, Robert Schell, John Mathis Jr. and Isabella Sanders; Nine grandchildren; sisters Patty (John) Bradley, Diane (Larry) Rutherford, and Joan England. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cheryl Walker.A Funeral Service will be held at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, Indianapolis, IN, at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8th, with Pastor David Stephenson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, IN at 2 p.m. with military honors.
